The problem
When one corner of your home drops, the whole structure feels it — cracks travel, doors jam and floors tilt. House leveling is the engineered process of lifting a settled structure back to its intended elevation and holding it there. It is our core specialty across Savannah and coastal Georgia.
Warning signs to watch for
- A noticeable slope or dip across the floor
- Stair-step cracks in brick or block exterior walls
- Doors and windows that stick, jam or gap at corners
- Cracks above doorways and at wall-ceiling joints
- Gaps between the chimney and the house
Our repair method
We map the entire floor with a manometer survey to find the low points, then install piers at strategic load points. Synchronized hydraulic jacks raise the structure together in small steps while we monitor finishes, then we lock the elevation in place.
Why it matters
A level home is a safe home. Proper leveling relieves the stress causing your cracks, restores doors and windows, and stops the slow damage that drags down comfort and value.
