The problem
Sinkholes form when groundwater erodes underground voids until the surface above collapses. Along the coast, fluctuating water tables and sandy soils make depressions and surface holes a real risk near homes, driveways and pools. We identify the void and fill it before it grows.
Warning signs to watch for
- A circular depression or dip forming in the yard
- Slumping fence posts, trees or pavement
- New cracks in the foundation, driveway or pool deck
- Soft, wet or sunken spots underfoot
- Doors and windows suddenly sticking
Our repair method
We probe to map the void, then pump structural grout or expanding polyurethane foam to fill the cavity and compact the surrounding soil. The result is a stable, load-bearing mass where there was once empty space.
Why it matters
Sinkholes only get larger and more dangerous. Professional remediation removes the hazard, protects nearby structures and gives you documentation for insurance and resale.
